ABOUT RESEARCH
My primary research revolves around exploring fundamental questions concerning the formation of stars and star clusters within the vast expanse of the Universe. I specialize in investigating open clusters, where stars are conveniently located at a consistent distance from us, enabling a thorough analysis of their evolutionary behavior. One of the key objectives of my research is to understand the process of star formation, mainly how stars or groups of stars come into being in different regions of the Universe. Additionally, I am keen on studying how these stars influence the interstellar medium, the material that fills the space between stars. Open clusters serve as valuable tracers for understanding the structure of our own Galaxy, the Milky Way. Despite knowing it to be a spiral galaxy, several aspects of its structure remain enigmatic, such as its precise number of spiral arms. By extensively studying numerous clusters throughout the Galaxy, we aim to gain valuable insights into the intricate details of the Milky Way's structure. Ultimately, the hope is that through this extensive research, we can uncover answers to the fundamental questions surrounding the formation of stars, star clusters, and the overall structure of our magnificent Galaxy.
My research focuses on the formation and evolution of stars and star clusters in our Milky Way Galaxy. I am interested in the photometric, astrometric, and spectroscopic study of star clusters.

Recently, my focus has shifted toward studying transiting exoplanets. To achieve this, I intend to utilize several ground-based observing facilities to monitor and capture transit events. By merging this newly acquired data with existing datasets, I aim to extend the time baseline for studying transiting exoplanets, allowing for a more comprehensive analysis of transit timing variations. Through this approach, we can potentially detect, suggest, or rule out the existence of additional exoplanets within these exoplanetary systems. By carefully examining the timing variations of transits, valuable insights can be gained, shedding light on the dynamics and complexities of these distant planetary systems.
